Convert 1 U.S. Dollar into Venezuelan Bolivar

For money exchange rates:  currently it is more convenient to bring US$ cash because you will obtain more Bolivares.  The Official exchange is set at:  1 US$ ... Bolivares (Bs.) 2.150 -  but for cash you will find at the parallel market:  1 US$ .... Bs. 4.000.  I recommend to bring US Dollars in cash (large bills of 50 or 100) or American Express  Traveler cheques (Dec. 2007)

Try using the one at Banco Venezuela, Ave 4 de Mayo. Currently there is no service for PLUS network. You must keep in mind that the exchange rate for ATM's transactions is Bs. 2.100 / US$ (not recommended)
